Join the University of Maryland Extension - Queen Anne's County Master Gardeners for our annual seed swap and garden day. You do not need to bring seeds to receive seeds. Please label any seeds you bring so that other swappers know what they are getting. Seeds are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our bodies are made up of over 60% water which supports vital functions and maintain health. The quality of water we drink is important and this webinar will discuss key steps to ensure good drinking water quality.

Stop by the Queen Anne’s Public Library in Kent Island on the second Saturday of every month from February to April from 10 am to noon with all your questions about gardening, garden pests, plant problems, and insects. Master Gardeners will be on hand to give tips and tricks to make your home garden flourish, help troubleshoot tricky growing situations, and offer encouragement on creating the perfect garden for your space.

This exam is for those who wish to obtain a pesticide private applicator license. There is an optional training which includes a review of the study manual.

Study manuals can be found online on the Maryland Department of Agriculture's website: MD Core Manual or obtained from the Talbot County Extension Office at 28557 Marys Court Suite 1 Easton MD 21601. They cost $20.

Both public and private well water supplies may contain minerals, metals, etc. that can cause either aesthetic or health concerns. In this webinar, common contaminants and their treatment will be presented.

For home sites that present challenges to the design and operation of a septic system, such as high-water table, poor soils, and small lots, there are several tools designers may be able to employ to allow for a septic system.

Whether it be an unpleasant smell, scale, or a health risk contaminant, fortunately there are numerous water filtration units to effectively treat these contaminants. This webinar will present options for homeowners to treat their drinking water.
