The Dining with Diabetes program is offered as a series of four weekly classes and one follow up class after three months.

Mondays in June: 1, 8, 15, 22 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM

*Follow up session: September 21

Each in-person session includes diabetes education and food tastings.

This program is led by Registered Dietitians and trained University of Maryland Extension Educators in consultation with Registered Dietitians.

This session will cover the 8 keystone habits of the Bay-Wise Living Landscape Metric, and tell you more about steps involved in getting your landscape certified as Bay-Wise.

The University of Maryland Extension offers a free weekly, expert-backed program series designed specifically for caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's, covering critical topics such as communication in dementia care, healthcare in senior years, managing someone else's money, The MIND diet - boosting brain power with food, food poisoning prevention and rest and relief for caregivers.

Join us for an educational walk in the woods in Madison, MD.

Join University of Maryland Extension, Maryland DNR Forest Service, and the Maryland Chapter of the American Tree Farm System for a guided walk through Rick and Kathy Abend's tree farm.

Owned since 1972, this 106-acre forested parcel is managed by Rick and Kathy Abend for multiple goals, including wildlife, timber, hunting, and stress relief. Learn about how the property owners have utilized cost-sharing programs, conservation easements, and the American Tree Farm System to help achieve their ownership goals.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
