I’m so thrilled to join the prestigious University of Maryland and serve as the new dean of the outstanding College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the founding college of UMD with more than 150 years of history, excellence, and progress. We will continue to build upon the college’s existing strengths in serving public purpose, feeding and nourishing communities, stewarding a healthy planet, and building a sustainable tomorrow, while also forging ahead with exciting new initiatives intended to attract the best and brightest students and faculty into our family.
