Rachel J. Rhodes is a Senior Agent Associate with the University of Maryland Extension in Queen Anne’s County. In her role, she coordinates and leads the county’s Master Gardener Program, supporting volunteer training, engagement, and educational initiatives that promote sustainable gardening practices across the region. She develops and delivers a wide range of educational programs for both volunteers and the public, covering topics such as integrated pest management, native plants, container gardening, seed starting, and environmentally responsible landscape practices. Mrs. Rhodes holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from Wesley College and a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources from Delaware State University.
