Michelle joined the Allegany County Extension Office as a 4-H Educator in 2024, bringing extensive experience in the field. Her involvement with 4-H began in 2007 as a dedicated volunteer. She has previously served as a 4-H Program Assistant for four years in the Garrett County Extension Office. She served most recently as a 4-H Volunteer Specialist at West Virginia University.
In her current role, Michelle also serves as the State 4-H Military Liaison for Maryland. In this capacity, she collaborates with the 4-H Military Partnership to ensure that military-connected youth have access to valuable opportunities within 4-H programs across their respective counties.
Michelle's commitment to 4-H is evident in her focus on key areas, including animal science, leadership, and career readiness. Her expertise and passion contribute significantly to the development of youth in these programs.
