Reasons for updates:
- May 17,2007, Corrected treatment for liquid "Other" type manures and "Other" type manure lables,
included ability to select soil analysis report option for mass soil analysis import, and refinement of soil analysis printout to easily identify soil P-FIV.
- April 05, 2007, Clarification of displayed history terms for miscellaneous organic material,
retention of percent slope on Part A page when 3rd RUSLE method is selected, correction in calculation of watershd acre talley when area is managed in k/sq.ft., refined Manure/Sludge/Fertilizer recommendation print output, and a new soil survey for Somerset county.
- October 04, 2006, Refined display and print output, retention of mineralization rate for
misc. organic materials, an adjusted soil survey for Howard County, and a new soil survey for Wicomico County.
- August 22, 2006, Repair of PSNT printing issue and minor refinement of crop terminology.
Also initial display of retained mapunits was corrected.
- June 8, 2006, Refinement of default P application classes in Part B of PSI
and an adjustment of credits for selected crops.
- May 12, 2006, Supplemental release of version 2.0 which includes a new soil
survey for Howard County.
- April 20, 2006, Release of version 2.0, with new crops, methods and notes.
Also included are improved system resource requests/management and most previous updates.
Separate patch. Not included in above updates.
- If the PSI Technical Guide is missing from the original software installation.
This patch will install it.
Instructions for updating the software are as follows:
- Click on either of the links above.
- A dialogue should appear and give the user the opportunity to "Run or Save" the file.
- Select Save then select the directory for saving the file, a location where it will be easy to locate later (the desktop is a suggestion). If desired, print this page of instructions.
- When the download has completed, close the browser and all other programs that may be running on the computer.
- Locate and double-click on the downloaded file to start the file-unzip program.
- The default installation path will be indicated as the target location. If necessary, change the target location to reflect the actual installation path of the NuManPro software.
- Click the UNZIP button. The unzip program will place the files in the target location.
- When the unzip process has completed, click OK and then click Close.
- When the unzip program has closed, the downloaded file may be removed from the desktop (if it was saved there). Either delete it or move it to another location on the computer's hard drive.
