The Adolescent Sexuality Special Interest Group of NNFR seeks to promote research-based, educational programs that address adolescent sexuality. Current efforts include identifying curricula and other teaching materials available both within and outside the Cooperative Extension System and making those materials known and available electronically.

The newly established Adolescent Pregnancy, Parenting and Prevention Special Interest Group links NNFR and the National Decisions for Health Network so that "bridges" are formed across the system.

SIECUS is a national, private, nonprofit advocacy organization which affirms that sexuality is a natural and healthy part of living. SIECUS develops, collects, and disseminates information, promotes comprehensive education about sexuality, and advocates the right of individuals to make responsible sexual choices.
KIDS COUNT, a project of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, is a national and state-by-state effort to track the status of children in the United States. Data on-line from 1995/96/97, includes data on teen birth rate.
