Welcome to the University of Maryland Extension Faculty and Staff Advisory Committee (UME-FSAC) website.
Should you have an issue or topic you would like to bring to the attention of the committee, please contact any of the members listed below. We are committed to bring issues to the attention of the UME administrative team. As an advisory committee, we can share, advise, and make suggestions; it is up to the administrative team to listen, consider, and decide on matters that affect the entire organization.

Membership consists of county/city, regional and state faculty and staff. There are two representatives from each level of UME as well as two at-large positions for a total of twelve members. Representatives are from: East Region, West Region, Research & Education Centers, Departments and staff. At-large positions are utilized to ensure committee diversity. All terms are for two years, with half the membership being replaced every year.

Maryland 4-H Aerospace Challenge
Great News for 4-H Aerospace Enthusiasts! The Maryland 4-H Aerospace Challenge is back. It will take place on Saturday, July 14 from 9 am-3 pm. In order to prepare for this State Challenge, a workshop will be held on June 30th from 9 am - 2pm. - posted May 22, 2012
4-H National Youth Science Day
The 2012 National Science Experiment for 4-H National Youth Science Day has been released. The 4-H Eco-Bot Challenge will introduce youth to engineering concepts as they program a self-directed robot to clean up a simulated environmental spill. - posted May 22, 2012
