Dr. Raymond Miller is Director of International Programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources (IPAN). Dr. Miller has traveled and worked in over 30 countries worldwide and specializes in science, education management and administration, education, distance education, and assessment of agriculture science and education. He is a soil chemist by training and, in addition, has conducted research in plant mitochondria and geographical information systems. Currently, Dr. Miller is involved in active programs in Rep. of Georgia, China, Russia, India and international training workshops.

Dr. Richard A. Weismiller is Associate Director of International Programs in Agriculture (IPAN) and Natural Resources in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. His area of expertise is soil and water resource management with emphasis on agricultural nutrient management, watershed management and soil and water pollution. He has traveled in over 20 countries and currently is active in projects in Russia, India, China and Georgia.

Dr. Weismiller holds the rank of Professor Emeritus in the Department of Environmental Science and Technology. He was formerly Chair of the Department of Natural Resource Sciences and Landscape Architecture. Dr. Weismiller teaches environmental soil science and soil and water pollution at the University of Maryland, and has a Doctor Honoris Causa degree from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Dr. Prabhakar Tamboli is an Adjunct Professor and Director of International Training Programs. He teaches "International Crop Production -- Issues and challenges in the 21st Century," at UMD. Dr. Tamboli was a Senior Agriculturalist at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., where he worked on projects in 30 countries in Africa and Asia. He also has held positions as a Soil Fertility expert at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, and as a professor and associate dean at Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University at Jabalpur (M.P.), and was involved in designing and implementing All India Agronomic Trials throughout India. In addition to his work at IPAN, Dr. Tamboli is a consultant to World Bank, IFAD, and FAO.
