Target Audience: Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, St. Mary's Length: 1:30 - 4:00 pm Learning Objective: The objective of the meeting is to provide participants with a presentation of the proposed draft Growth Offset policy by State agencies, and to address the meeting participants' questions and/or note concerns before the policy is finalized and regulations are developed to implement the policy. Description: The meeting will include a presentation by staff from Maryland Department of the Environment about the draft Growth Offset policy and the proposed timeframe for acceptance and implementation of the policy. Following the presentation, the remainder of the meeting is dedicated for a question and answer period. Participants are invited to ask questions and express concerns to staff from Maryland Department of the Environment, Department of Agriculture, and Department of Planning. The Harry R. Hughes Center for Agro-Ecology is organizing this event and would like to thank the Town Creek Foundation for their generous support which allows the Center this opportunity.
