Conference Information

The 2009 National Extension and Research Administrative Officers’ Conference will be held April 26 - 30, 2009 at the Baltimore Hyatt Regency Hotel at the Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore, Maryland.

Presentation Information

In an effort to have a “paperless” conference, all presentations will be uploaded to this site by April 1, 2009. Presentations will stay on the site for downloading after the conference concludes. Visit the Presentation Information page for submission instructions and a list of presentations currently available for download as PDF files.

If you would like to have copies of any presentations while at the conference, you are responsible for printing.  Internet service will be provided free of charge for checking email only.  Printing services and handouts will not be provided by the conference but printing is available for a fee via the hotel business center.

What to Expect

• Business Casual is the preferred dress of the conference.

• There are many restaurants and points of interest in the Inner Harbor. The Inner Harbor area and all its amenities are a short walk from the hotel. Causeways leading from the hotel to the Harbor allow you to bypass roadways. Bring a pair of walking shoes for venturing out.

• The opening reception will be held at the National Aquarium, which is a 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The Wednesday evening event will be a dinner and cruise in the Inner Harbor out to the Patapsco River. The dress for this event is casual. You may wish to bring a jacket, while the dining area is covered, the deck is not.

• An Internet Café will be offered throughout the conference for email access.
