ALL STAR SCHOLARSHIP - Two (2) $500 scholarships will be awarded to a current or former Howard County 4-H member enrolled at an accredited 2 year or 4 year college, university with the intent to obtain an associate, bachelor, graduate degree or a technical school. AMELIA GRACE DASHIELL SCHOLARHIP - One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded in memory of Amelia Grace Dashiell, her passion for horses, her enthusiastic participation as a 4-H Centaur and her unrealized dream to pursue a career in the horse industry, an educational scholarship for current and past 4-H members having carried the 4-H horse project as been established in her honor. Applications must be postmarked no later than July 15, 2012.
FARM-CITY SCHLARSHIP - Graduating seniors from any Howard County school (public or private) who plan to pursue a career in agriculture, animal welfare, or other field benefitting the agricultural community are eligible to apply for a scholarship of up to $1,000. Application is due by May 12, 2012.

HOWARD COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION, INC. EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS - Each year, the Howard County Fair Association offers scholarships to qualified individuals to assist with their educational expenses. This year, six $2,000 scholarships will be awarded. The Fair Association hopes that the scholarship recipients will some day return to the Fair as volunteers. MARYLAND GRAIN PRODUCERS has again committed grain checkoff funds to support our scholarship program. The program will be adminstered by the Maryland Grain Producers Association, which is awarding eight deserving students with scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each ($1,250 for each semester) enrolled in a Maryland or an out-of-state institution. JERED HARRISON SCHOLARSHIP - was an active member in the 4-H program and the South Carroll FFA. He showed beef steers, sheep and swine.
