
2012 Theme: "Our kids, our fair, our future."
The Online Entry system is now open for the 2012 Carroll County 4-H and FFA Fair. It is very important that you read and follow the directions in this email so that your entries are submitted correctly and on time.
- The Entry deadline is 11:59 PM on June 10th. This is a firm deadline. There will be no late entries accepted for any reason.
- The entry website can become very slow under heavy use, and many people wait until the last night to complete their entries. Be sure to complete your entries well before the deadline so that you avoid problems and possibly missing the deadline.
- If you already created an account to register for the 2012 Public Speaking Contest or 2012 Demonstration Day Contest, please use the same account. Do not create a new account. If you cannot remember your login information, please use the password and user name recovery options on the log-in page as well as the email you received from the system when you registered in January or February. The email would have been sent from the email address carrollcountyfairentries@yahoo.com.
- If you did not register for 2012 Public Speaking or Demonstration Day earlier this year you must create a new account for each exhibitor.
- Every exhibitor must have their own account. Do not enter multiple exhibitors under the same account. Your email address may be used for multiple accounts, but the login name must be unique for each exhibitor.
- Be sure to enter your email address correctly when you register. If you enter a wrong address you will not receive Fair information emails and will not be able to recover your account.
- Please write down your login details in a safe location. If you lose your login information do not create a duplicate account. Duplicate accounts will be deleted. Please use the password and user name recovery options on the log-in page as well as the email you received from the system when you registered in January or February. The email would have been sent from the email address carrollcountyfairentries@yahoo.com.
- Each exhibitor must identify their primary club when they create their account. Please do not change your club information after you register and be sure this information is correct or your premium check will be sent to the wrong leader. Submit all entries under your primary club name.
- Please be sure to enter the proper classes for the exhibitor’s 4-H age (age as of Jan 1, 2012). If there are any questions on the correct class to enter, please refer to the Fair Catalog for the appropriate Department (see the Fair Website).
- If you are entering club entries (Parade, Fair Beatification, Club Books, etc.) please use the format:
First Name: 4HClub
Last Name: Club Name (abbreviated if needed)
Address: Club Leader’s Address
Club entries submitted under an exhibitor’s account will be deleted.
- Finally, you must complete your online entries by checking out and paying any required entry fees. If you do not receive an email conformation after you believe you have submitted your entries, then one of the following happened:
- your email address was entered wrong when you registered
- you did not complete the Online Entry process, or
- the email went into your SPAM or Junk Email folder.
The Online Entry System can be reached by navigating to www.carrollcountyfair.com, and selecting the green Online Entries System button on the left side of the webpage. Good luck and remember to submit your entries on time.
