One of Maryland 4-H's most exciting new programs is Adventures In Science. Adventures In Science teaches youth all about science. The program also pairs older youth with scientists to learn how to teach younger children about science. Adventures In Science has gained a lot of popularity in several Maryland counties and Baltimore City. |
| 4-H has a long tradition of teaching young people to participate in shooting sports safely and responsibly. Archery is a very popular project around the state. Many counties have arranged for youth to learn archery at local archery ranges. Some counties, like Frederick County, have their own ranges on their own property. |  |
Maryland 4-H Youth Development programs and activities are open to all youth between the ages of 5 and 18 without regard to race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, or national origin.
