The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources has two academic programs that students often choose as preparation for medical or dental school:
Each curriculum provides you with the required courses for medical and dental school, and for preparation to take the MCAT and DATexams.
Student Services:
- Mandatory advising with a faculty member to ensure that you work closely with a professional dedicated to helping you reach your goal.
- University pre-professional health advisor who will assist you in preparing applications and in connecting with professional schools throughout the country including the University of Maryland Medical and Dental School. Contact the Pre-Med advisor, Ms. Wendy Loughlin, for more information.
- Many internship opportunities at research laboratories, hospitals, and biotech companies.
- Options in preparation for medical or dental school by combining your interests with our diverse and unique programs.
