Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! The University of Maryland will celebrate your accomplishments during a two-day celebration that kicks off with a campus-wide ceremony on Sunday, May 20 at 1 p.m. (with the procession of graduates beginning at 12:15 p.m.) and the individual college and school ceremonies will follow on Monday, May 21 at various times and locations on campus. The campus-wide ceremony allows the university to come together as a community to celebrate our graduates' accomplishments before students are recognized individually at the college and school ceremonies. During the campus-wide ceremony, President Wallace Loh will officially confer the degrees and a commencement speaker as well as a student speaker will address the audience.
