To be admitted to the M.S. degree program in Environmental Science and Technology, a student must:
1) Have earned a B.S. degree in a related field;
2) Have achieved an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher;
3) Have completed courses to fulfill the Basic Science Requirement;
4) Have achieved competitive scores on the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) General Test.

The University of Maryland Graduate School accepts applications through the Online Graduate Application. Applicants are required to submit transcripts, GRE scores, a personal statement of research interests, and contact information for three references.
