Position: Aquarist Internship

Qualifications: College juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited college, pursuing a degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field. Must receive college credit while completing a minimum of 120 hours of work within the selected term, preferably during the week in the morning of for a full day. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb up a 6’ ladder, and be able to squeeze across a 15’ long X 12” wide platform.
Description: Interns assist in the care of invertebrates and fish. Duties include tank maintenance and cleaning, diet preparation and feeding, cleaning behind-the-scenes areas, and record keeping.
