Qualifications: Candidates should have an interest in learning about the parks and recreation field. Prefer individuals with a degree concentration in Environmental Science or related field. No experience is required, however preference will be given to candidates in the final 12 months of study. time commitment: Minimum of 8 hours per week, flexible. This position is open ended but project is expected to last 12-15 weeks. This position requires: High school diploma or GED and two years of college or related experience.

Description: Under general supervision the intern will provide direct support to the city Forester. Support activities will include but are not limited to collecting tree data in the field, urban forestry research, grant application, and other various projects. Other jobs as assigned.

Salary: Unpaid
