Qualifications: Required Skills: US citizenship; valid driver`s license; ability to work with minimal supervision in areas with poisonous plants and animals, allergens, temperature extremes and inclement weather. Desired Skills: Minimum 2 years of college coursework in area related to wildlife management/biology, natural resources, or other biological sciences; experience in habitat survey.

Description: Naval Air Station Patuxent River Located in St. Mary's County, Maryland, at the confluence of the Patuxent River and the Chesapeake Bay, NAS Patuxent River comprises approximately 9,000 total acres. Land use/cover here is a mixture of urban development, forests, agricultural lands and tidal water bodies. The primary mission at the Installation involves research, development, testing and evaluation of Naval aircraft and aircraft systems. Perform waterfowl trapping and banding, 90%; assist with assorted wildlife surveys, 10%.
